Shannon and Ryan are from New Hampshire. Their relationship started out as high school sweethearts and they slightly parted after high school as Ryan joined the coast guard and Shannon continued onto college. A few years later they rekindled their relationship and two years later Ryan proposed to Shannon during the pinning of her nursing school graduation. Shannon contacted me because they wanted to have their engagement shoot here in FL at Disney’s boardwalk while they were on vacation. They plan to have their fairytale wedding complete with bagpipes overlooking the Harbor in Gloucester MA. We met at sunrise in the lobby of Disney’s Beach Club Resort and got straight to shooting on the boardwalk while the sun rose on a beautiful and brisk November morning. Shannon is a nurse, Ryan now works in law enforcement….and they are obviously madly in love.

Bride to be Stephanie will soon be marrying the man of her dreams this November and I will have the honor of documenting her wedding at the Sheraton Sand Key Resort at Clearwater Beach Florida. Stephanie had her hair and makeup test run with the talented Summer Posey with Beauty Bullies in mid August. Although Stephanie and fiance’ Jon had already had their engagement photos taken we thought why not take advantage of the opportunity and do a quick portrait session with Stephanie at nearby Lake Eola. She is just stunning and a natural in front of the camera. I can’t wait for Stephanie and Jon’s wedding day to arrive.

In just two short weeks Amy and Kevin will be tying the knot at the beautiful Lakeside Inn located in Mt. Dora. Back in December 2013 after having the honor of being chosen as their wedding photographer I shot their save the date engagement session in Harry P. Leu Gardens where Kevin proposed to Amy. They requested that I not post too many photos of their session at first in order to keep them a secret as they wanted them to be a surprise for their save the date invitations. Now that we are getting really close to their wedding day I can finally share their fun session with the rest of you. Notice the clock behind them? The time is 10:04, which happens to be their wedding date. Pretty slick huh? Be sure to view the rest of this post to see their engagement video announcement shot by the talented folks at Tillman Theatre.
Earlier in the year I participated in my first ever bridal show with Your Dream Event Weddings and Special Events. The show was a blast and it gave me my first ever opportunity to meet dozens of brides to be and discuss their photography needs concerning their special day face to face. I offered a raffle prize at the end of the day for a free 2 hour engagement session and Katherine and Bryan were the selected winners. As I understand it, they haven’t fully decided on a wedding date just yet. I’m certain once they get all the details sorted out their day will be quite a special day. The following are a few shots from their engagement session.
This is going to be a short-winded blog entry. Caitlin and Mike are one of the most fun couple’s I’ve ever had the opportunity to photograph. They are just simply in love and naturals in front of the camera. You’ll be seeing more of these two this coming March when they tie the knot. Here are a few of my favorite shots from their engagement session.
