I grew up in the North East where the leaves change to brilliant shades of red, yellow, and orange….who doesn’t love the awesome display of colors the fall season has to offer? Having said that, I love living in Florida because the North East can have brutal winters that involve freezing cold temperatures, gray overcast days, freezing rain, and no leaves on the trees at all which the south doesn’t have to tend with. I haven’t met one person that loves shoveling snow or driving on ice. Though Florida doesn’t have the brilliant display of fall foliage the North East has, the leaves do slightly change colors, and the sun has a warm glow to it. I had the pleasure of shooting an awesome family in November that was tons of fun…and the weather was fantastic. This was the first time I’ve visited Mead Gardens in Orlando and it offered plenty of trees for shade and foliage for awesome backdrops. Though we shot at mid afternoon where the sunlight is still a little harsh for my liking, we made the best of the conditions and in the end captured some playful moments. Hey, sometimes you need to work around children’s nap schedules right? Enjoy!
